The Tampa Bay Rays Set Franchise Record, One Game From MLB Record

The Tampa Bay Rays cannot lose. The team opened their season with a 13-0 winning streak. Tampa Bay is now one game away from breaking the record held by the 1982 Atlanta Braves and 1987 Milwaukee Brewers, 13 straight wins to start the season. The Rays remain not only the team with the best record, but the only undefeated team in the MLB.

The Rays swept Boston at home, winning 9-3.
