The Gators (+4) are trailing No. 14 Ole Miss (+3). Five UF players are in the top 17, with freshman Jessica Guiser T2, one shot behind leader Nicole Gal (Ole Miss) at -4.
In round one, the Gators were two shots ahead at 2-under par at the turn, thanks to a strong 4-under stretch on holes 6-9, led by Inès Archer (+7), who had three birdies and no bogeys. She is tied for 37th.
After the first round, Florida was +2 and four shots behind Ole Miss in third. In the second round, they trailed by as many as eight shots but used a 3-under run on holes 7-9 to close the gap to three.

Paula Francisco’s birdie on 12 reduced the lead to one shot. She finished with a career-best 3-under 67, tying for 4th at 2-under overall.
Karoline Tuttle, making her season debut, shot rounds of 71 (+1) and 70 (E), placing T10. She ranks second in birdies (9) and par-5 scoring at 4.33 (-4).
Addison Klonowski is in T12 at 2-over and Siuue Wu is T17 at 3-over. Klonowski’s 1-under 69 in round one was her ninth round of par or better, tied for the team-high with Francisco.
In her first home tournament, Guiser shot rounds of 68 (-2) and 69 (-1), totaling 3-under 137. She made an eagle on the par-5 12th in round one, tying for the lead at the time. Guiser leads with 10 birdies and is competing as an individual.
Florida also has three individual competitors outside of Guiser: Sophie Stevens (T31, +6), Sarunchana Rattanasin (T59, +13) and Isa Wu (T69, +17). Isa Wu made her collegiate debut and birdied her first hole, the par-4 17th.
