Florida Football 2026 Pro Day: Who to Look For

March 23, 2026

The Florida Gators are set to host their 2026 Pro Day on Thursday in Gainesville, providing NFL scouts and executives an opportunity to evaluate the program’s top-draft talent.

The nine Gators that were invited will participate in a full slate of testing, such as position drills, 40-yard dashes, and on-field workouts that can stand out ahead of the NFL draft.

Pro day offers a major chance for many of these players to showcase their techniques, athleticism, and growth following each of their collegiate careers. It also allows much of the team personnel to gather insight into each player beyond film.

Several Florida prospects are expected to post successful testing numbers during the session:

  • Devin Moore (DB): A physical cornerback with “Legion of Boom” length, in which he recorded 29 solo tackles, 2 interceptions and allowed 17 receptions. He is a prospect who ran a 4.5-second 40-yard despite his recent hernia surgery.
  • Jake Slaughter (OL): An All-SEC First team center and Rimington Trophy finalist who records an elite consistency of stats with an 86.4 pass-block grade and has only allowed one sack throughout the season, he is expected to be a Day 1 or Day 2 selection.
  • Austin Barber (OL): A third-team All-SEC tackle that is projected as a mid to late round pick. He was considered a key part of the Gators’ offensive line, receiving an elite 90.0 run blocking grade.

Despite posting a 32-inch vertical jump and a 5.04-second 40-yard dash at the combine, Caleb Banks will not be competing at Pro Day. The 6’6, 327lb defensive lineman has a broken foot. Still, he is regarded by analysts as a “top riser” and a potential first-round pick.

With the draft approaching, Florida’s Pro Day serves as a critical step for the evaluation process before the NFL draft.
