The WCGA Recognizes Four Gators Gymnasts in its Regular-Season All-America Honors
The Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association announced its list of recipients for regular-season honors this afternoon. Four Florida gymnasts were among the selective pool, including Skye Blakely, Kayla DiCello, Seleana Harris-Miranda and Riley McCusker. The Gators tallied a whopping nine All-America honors.
The WCGA relies on final National Qualifying Scores (NQS) from the Road to Nationals rankings to determine honors recipients. The gymnasts who finish in the top-eight for each event (vault, beam, uneven bars and floor) and the all-around are given first-team recognition, and those that rank ninth through 16th receive second-team accolades.
Selena Harris-Miranda
Senior Selena Harris-Miranda finished sixth in the all-around first team with a NQS of 39.605. She also earned first team honors in three events: vault, uneven bars and balance beam.
Miranda is among the only three gymnasts in the country to receive four or more first-team All-America recognitions. In addition, she cements herself as the only gymnast in the nation to acquire first-team all-around honors during all four seasons of her collegiate career.
Skye Blakely
Skye Blakely, one of three SEC specialists of the year, earned two All-America honors. The sophomore made first team on the uneven bars (third place) and second-team for balance beam(16th place).
After suffering from an Achilles injury in 2024 at the U.S. Olympic Trials, Blakely competed in all events for the first time this season.
Kayla DiCello
Junior Kayla DiCello racked up two first-team WCGA All-America honors in both bars and beam. During her gap year in 2024, DiCello suffered an Achilles injury at the Olympic Trials, forcing her to sit out for the entire 2025 season.
DiCello was a standout-performer for the Gators in 2023, in which she earned SEC Freshman of the Year, as well as three WCGA All-America honors. Upon her return, she was one of only two gymnasts to earn all-SEC honors for every event in 2026.
Riley McCusker
Riley McCusker recorded her second-career WCGA All-America honor. The senior earned first-team for the uneven bars and tied for fifth place (9.945 NQS) with her teammate Selena Harris-Miranda. McCusker logged seven scores of 9.9 or higher this season.
Florida will head into the NCAA Tempe Regional this week as the No. 3 overall seed. The Gators will kick off competition in the evening session on Thursday.
