Jaguars Inactives: Jacksonville Clears Injury Report vs. Denver
For the second straight week, none of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ inactives were injury-induced, giving the fully healthy squad a leg up as it faces its first road test of the season against the Denver Broncos.
The inactives listed Sunday ahead of the game were emergency quarterback Quinn Ewers, rookie safety Jalen Huskey, rookie tight end Tanner Koziol, offensive lineman Daniel Faalele, defensive end Wesley Williams, wide receiver CJ Williams and linebacker Jack Kiser. Williams and Kiser are the only new additions to the Week 1 list.
LeQuint Allen Jr., Christian Braswell, Jakobi Meyers, Foyesade Oluokun, Brian Thomas Jr. and Cole Van Lanen were all listed on the Week 2 injury report, but none appeared on the inactives list released 90 minutes before kickoff.
Offensive lineman Van Lanen, who suffered a right knee injury in Week 18 of the 2025 season, played last week against the Browns after appearing on the Week 1 injury report as well. He was one of the biggest question marks heading into the season opener, but the Jaguars will once again have him at tackle.
Allen was also left off the inactives list last week after battling a hip injury, but unlike Van Lanen, he saw limited action against the Browns. Playing a bigger role against the Broncos, Sunday may provide the first look into what the three-man band in the backfield will look like.
Thomas made an appearance on the injury report after leaving the Browns game with a shoulder injury, but he was cleared to play Friday. Meyers will play through a lingering thumb injury that has not kept him out of either of his team’s opening contests.
On the defensive end, Braswell (knee) and Oluokun (wrist) are back in full swing. Braswell was fully active in practice Thursday, while Oluokun was limited.
Jacksonville will take the field at full strength for its first real test of the season against Denver. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. at Empower Field at Mile High.
