The Southeastern Conference awarded three Gators for their performances in Saturday’s dominant 52-28 win over Ole Miss. Jadan Baugh was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week, while London Montgomery earned Special Teams Player of the Week and Bryce Lovett was named Offensive Lineman of the Week.
Jadan Baugh received his first SEC Offensive Player of the Week accolade for his key role in the victory over the Rebels. Baugh ran for 142 yards on the way to three touchdowns on 29 carries. The junior running back has now rushed for 100-plus yards and multiple touchdowns in all four games this season, making him just the third player in Florida history to accomplish the feat, joining program legends Emmitt Smith and Fred Taylor.

The Preseason All-American is on pace to break the program record for rushing yards and the SEC record for rushing touchdowns. Baugh’s 600 total rushing yards are the most ever recorded by a Gator in the first four games. Heading into Week 5, Baugh leads the FBS in rushing touchdowns (11), total touchdowns (11), scoring (16.5), total points scored (66), PFF rushing grade (92.6), PFF offensive grade among running backs (88.6), missed tackles forced (34) and rushing first downs (29).
As for Montgomery and Lovett, Monday’s announcement marks their first ever SEC weekly honors.
Montgomery, an East Carolina transfer and first-year Gator, recorded 128 yards on three kick returns for an average of 42.7 yards per return. Montgomery’s total kick return yards are the most in a single game for a player this season. The senior from Scranton, Pennsylvania also posted a career-high return of 74 yards, the longest by a Gator since Solomon Patton in 2013 and the second-longest in the SEC this season.
Lovett has started as left tackle for the Gators in all four games this season. The senior out of Rockledge, Florida posted an 85.1 PFF pass-blocking grade across 69 snaps against the Rebels, surrendering not one quarterback pressure or hurry. Lovett played a huge role in the performance of the Gators’ offensive line, which allowed for zero sacks in Week 4.
The trio’s combined efforts on both sides of the ball allowed the Gators to post an impressive 302 rushing yards and six total touchdowns. Saturday’s performance signifies the highest rushing total against any SEC team since 2022 against South Carolina (374).
Under new Gators coach Jon Sumrall, No. 8 Florida has opened the season 4-0 for the first time since 2019. The Gators look to carry the momentum into a Week 5 matchup this Saturday in Columbia, Missouri against the No. 25 Missouri Tigers. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
