Florida-Oklahoma Kickoff Time Set for Nov. 7
The Gators are headed back to the Swamp — and this time for another night game.
Kickoff time for the matchup between the Florida Gators and the Oklahoma Sooners is set for Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7:45 p.m, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday. The game will be televised live on the SEC Network.
The meeting marks the first time the Sooners have ever played in the Swamp. Since joining the SEC in 2024, the Sooners have yet to face the Gators. The two teams have only ever met twice, most recently in 2020 when Oklahoma defeated Florida 55-20 to win the Cotton Bowl.
The Gators face the Sooners the week after a contentious rivalry weekend matchup against No.3 Georgia in Atlanta on Halloween. Head coach Jon Sumrall has yet to name a quarterback for this weekend’s matchup, leading to speculation about who will start in the first game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium after nearly a month.
The Sooners hold a 4-3 record this season and are 2-2 in SEC play. They most recently defeated Mississippi State 23-15 on the road, led by quarterback John Mateer who threw for 2 touchdowns and 283 yards. The Sooners face South Carolina this weekend at home, who notably defeated the Gators 38-19 in Week 6.
The Nov. 7 contest marks the annual “Saluting Those Who Serve” Game, and the Gators will debut new all-blue uniforms.
