Arnold Palmer Invitational Underway
The Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament first round began Thursday as the two-time defending champion and former Gator Matt Every is looking to three-peat at Bay Hill. Every will have stiff competition as the field for the tournament is loaded with some heavy hitters. Notable names in the field this week from the world top-10 are Jason Day, Rory Mcilroy, Adam Scott, Justin Rose, and Bubba Watson. After winning his second straight title last year, Every became the third man to win back-to-back at Bay Hill, with Loren Roberts and Tiger Woods, who is the only player to win three times in a row.
Matt Every says that his first win wasn’t out of no where, he was playing well going into the tournament but last year he has no idea how he won.
The tournament began with the first tee time at 7:35 a.m. this morning and will be played through the final round on Sunday.

Every is ranked 141st in the world and still has hopes to three-peat, while Adam Scott is looking to carry momentum into the tournament after beating Rory Mcllroy in the Cadillac Championship. Also, third ranked in the world Jason Day says his game is in a good spot and hopes that he can win in Florida.
