Gators Lacrosse Runs Wild in 24-8 Blowout Win vs. Stetson

February 25, 2026

No. 10 Florida took care of business Wednesday night.

The Gators rolled past Stetson 24-8 in DeLand, Florida, improving to 6-0 all-time against the Hatters and continuing their dominance over Atlantic Sun opponents.

Florida wasted no time setting the tone early. Jenny Woodings won the opening draw, allowing the Gators to tally three goals in the first 90 seconds. Kaitlyn Davies, Gabby Greene and Frannie Hahn were the players to get them on the board.

From there, the offense stayed hot. Clark Hamilton weaved through defenders for her third goal of the opening quarter to seal a dominant beginning.

By the half, Florida was ahead 16-4.

The Gators dominance at the draw circle was crucial to the win, finishing 21 of 33. The extra possessions allowed Florida to control the game and consistently get the ball to its top scorers. The offense spread the love with 14 different Gators finding the back of the net.

Hamilton, named IWLCA Division One National Player of the Week, led the game with four goals. Freshman Kennedy Richardson matched her with four of her own, recording the first hat trick of her career in the third quarter. Freshman Autumn Blair made the most of her time on the field, tallying two goals in the first half, while freshmen Caroline Hoskins, Alexa Stone and Molly Doran each added goals too.

Defensively, Florida remained steady. Paige Crowther started in net and made key free-position goal saves in the first quarter. Maya Soskin and Susan Radebaugh each saw time in between the posts as the Gators rotated all three keepers.

After opening the season with three straight ranked opponents, Florida handled its first non-ranked matchup with depth and offensive power. The Gators’ 24 goals marked a season high and showcased plays from veterans and freshmen.

Florida will look to carry this momentum into its third consecutive road game against Navy on Saturday.
