Florida-Oklahoma Kickoff Time Set for Nov. 7
The Gators are back in The Swamp — and this time for another night game.
Kickoff time for the matchup between Florida and the Oklahoma Sooners is set for 7:45 p.m. Nov. 7, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday. The game will be televised on the SEC Network and air on WRUF 98.1-FM/850-AM/103.7 HD2 ESPN starting at 4:45 p.m.
The meeting marks the first time the Sooners have played in The Swamp. Since joining the SEC in 2024, the Sooners have yet to face the Gators. The two teams have only met twice, most recently in 2020 when Oklahoma defeated Florida 55-20 to win the Cotton Bowl.
The Gators face the Sooners the week after a contentious rivalry weekend matchup against No. 3 Georgia in Atlanta on Halloween.
The Sooners (4-3, 2-2 SEC) defeated Mississippi State 23-15 on the road last Saturday and were led by quarterback John Mateer, who threw for two touchdowns and 283 yards. The Sooners host South Carolina (4-3, 2-3) at 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
The Nov. 7 contest marks the annual “Saluting Those Who Serve” Game, and the Gators will debut all-blue uniforms.
UF will also honor former head coach Urban Meyer by inducting him into the Florida Football Ring of Honor. Meyer led the Gators to national championships in 2006 and ’08. That ’08 title came against Oklahoma.
