The University of Florida football team falls to 4-2 on the season after losing to LSU 41-11 on Saturday in Baton Rouge. LSU, the number one team in the nation in one poll, remains unbeaten.
Florida played the game without its two top quarterbacks as both starter John Brantley and backup Jeff Driskell missed the the game due to injury so freshman Jacoby Brissett got the start and ended up 8 of 14 for 94 yards with a touchdown pass to wide receiver Andre Debose and two interceptions.
Florida fell behind quickly 14-0 as the Tigers scored on their first two possessions and LSU never looked back. When Florida made the score 27-11 in the third quarter, the Tigers marched right down the field to score and the game was essentially put out of reach.
