With National Signing Day now only a few days away, Gator coach Will Muschamp and his football program will host a handful of top high school recruits this weekend.
Perhaps the most important is wide receiver Stefon Diggs of Maryland; Diggs is considered by some to be a Florida lean and the Gators are desperately in need of wide receiver playmakers, the kind of player many think Diggs can be.
Also confirmed by WRUF Sports Radio to be visiting this weekend among others are cornerback Tracy Howard, one of the top players in the country at his position, and there is also a possibility that defensive end Bryan Cox Jr, the son of the former NFL star, could be here as well.
Also expected to visit is defensive end/linebacker prospect Dante Fowler Jr. who is as of now an FSU verbal commitment. Also scheduled are Gator verbal commitments Matt Jones and tight end Colin Thompson. Defensive end prospect Alwx McCalister from North Carolina is also expected to visit.
