** The Florida women’s tennis team was trying for a three-peat national championship in the NCAA Tournament but it fell just short, losing 4-3 to Stanford Monday in the national semifinals. The Cardinal now meets Texas A&M for the national title.
** The Florida women’s golf team starts play today in the NCAA Championship in Athens, Georgia.
** Dave Perno has been fired as coach of the Georgia baseball team. The Bulldogs won just seven SEC games this season and did not make the SEC Tournament.
** The SEC Baseball Tournament starts today in Hoover, Alabama with four games including Florida facing Texas A&M. The other games are Ole Miss-Kentucky, Auburn-Alabama and Mississippi State-Missouri.
** The NBA Lottery is tonight where we will know which team will get the top pick in the June NBA Draft.
