Shortly after, the Gators performed similarly against Texas A&M. They clinched the series with an 11-3 win, but dropped the second game in a shutout loss.

Then, toward the end of March, Florida dropped two games against Tennessee. The first two games were proven difficult for the Florida as it fell 6-0 and 7-2. But, Florida was able to rebound, nearly evading a sweep with a 4-1 win.

Most recently, the Gators played in a three-game series against Auburn. They started off the series with a 3-1 loss. However, they ended the weekend strong with two hard-fought wins. Currently, the Gators and Tigers share an even 7-5 conference record.

Florida head coach Tim Walton commented on how competitive the SEC has been this season.
