No. 9 Florida Lacrosse Returns Home for Top-15 Battle Against Loyola

The No. 9 Florida lacrosse team returns to the Donald R. Dizney Stadium to host No. 15 Loyola.

The Gators (3-2) enter this matchup off a 17-16 loss against James Madison last Saturday in Charlotte, N.C. Meanwhile, the Greyhounds (4-2) are coming off a 14-10 home victory against Georgetown on Wednesday.

Head-to-Head History

Saturday’s match marks the 12th meeting between the two programs, with Florida leading the all-time series against Loyola 7-4. However, the Greyhounds won the last four out of five matchups, including last year when they defeated the Gators 18-10 in the season opener on Feb. 10.

This match is the eighth all-time and fifth consecutive top-15 matchup between the two teams. UF owns a 5-1 all-time record at home.

UF redshirt freshman Frannie Hahn logged a career day in last Saturday’s match. She recorded seven goals and three assists, becoming the sixth Gator to reach 10 or more points in a game and the first to do so since 2021. Her seven goals and 10 points tied freshman program records.
