Gators Lacrosse set to Host Stetson Tonight

The second ranked Florida Gator lacrosse team (11-0) will look to continue its winning ways when they host the Stetson Hatters (0-7) tonight in Donald R. Dizney Stadium. The game is a tale of two teams traveling in opposite directions. While Florida’s been downright dominant thus far, Stetson has been nothing short of toothless, losing to their opponents by an average of 13 goals a game. But you won’t see the Gators overlooking anyone, even with Ohio State coming in this weekend for the start of conference play. Gator coach Amanda O’Leary says the team is taking it one game at a time.

The Gators have been bolstered by the return of Brittany Dashiell, who missed last Tuesday’s game against Lehigh with a concussion. Dashiell had three goals and one assist in her return against Oregon, and O’Leary says she’s a vital part of the team.

Opening draw against Stetson is set for 6:30PM. The game can be heard on ESPN 850/900 with coverage beginning at 6:20.
