Juan is a junior at the University of Florida, majoring in Journalism: Sports & Media with a certificate in sports management. Born in Tampa and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, he covers all sports through a trilingual lens (English, Spanish, French) and has written for WRUF ESPN and Noticias WUFT. His favorite part of reporting is discovering the small detail that makes a game feel bigger than the score. His favorite sports are soccer and basketball. Juan supports FC Barcelona, Boca Juniors, and the Miami Heat. In the near future, Juan aims to pursue his dream job as a Premier League beat reporter.
