Riley Tirrell is a sophomore from Weymouth, Massachusetts. She’s a Political Science major with a Spanish minor, but outside of her studies, she’s explored courses throughout the College of Journalism and Communications. She covered local high school sports in Intro to ESPN Gainesville last spring, and this fall she wrote and reported for WRUF as part of Intro to INC Sports. As of late, Riley will be a beat reporter for Gators Swim and Dive, set to begin work in the Spring 2026 semester. In her future years at UF, she wants to get involved within the athletic program and cover Gators teams, especially football. After graduation, Riley wants to attend law school in hopes of working in sports law. In her free time, you can catch her following all things related to Boston sports and hanging out with friends.
