Florida-Mississippi State Homecoming Kickoff Time Revealed

The Florida Gators’ matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs will kick off at 4:15 p.m. EST and be broadcast on the SEC Network.

Florida and Mississippi State are both 3-7 in their last 10 midday games. The Gators lead the Bulldogs in all-time matchups with a record of 35-19-2 and are currently on a two-game win streak. 

In their latest game, Florida beat Mississippi State 45-28. After that match, the Bulldogs went 1-7 to finish the 2024 season. The Gators went 5-3 during that span and had statement wins against LSU and Ole Miss, who were both knocked out of College Football Playoff contention as a result of losing to Florida.

Mississippi State won their first four games of the 2025 season, but have since gone on a two-game losing streak. They lost to then-No. 15 Tennessee 41-34 in overtime and No. 5 Texas A&M 31-9. The Bulldogs still hold an impressive point differential of +83.

Florida was on a three-game losing streak until they beat then-No. 9 Texas 29-21 on Saturday. During their losing streak, the Gators lost to No. 2 Miami, No. 11 LSU, and No. 24 USF. The Gators have a point differential of +32.

Mississippi State (4-2) is on a bye-week ahead of their matchup with Florida. Next week, the Gators will travel to College Station, Texas, to face the Texas A&M Aggies at 7 p.m. on Saturday. That game will be broadcast on ESPN.
