Alan Garcia is a sophomore at the University of Florida studying journalism with a specialization in sports and media. He is a beat reporter for Gainesville High and Santa Fe High School athletics, and a producer for WRUF's original programming. Alan enjoys telling stories that go beyond results, and loves looking into the human interest aspect of sports. He aspires to become a play-by-play broadcaster for basketball, covering either college basketball or the NBA. Alan resides in Boynton Beach, Florida. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, exercising, listening to music and playing video games.
