By on February 20th, 2013

Auburn welcomes Texas A&M to Auburn Arena, as the Tigers look to put an end to their SEC skid of dropping nine of their last 10 conference games. Auburn will have to contain an Aggies team which features one of the SEC’s top scorers in Elston Turner. The Tigers will also need to find someone to compliment Chris Denson, who is averaging 14.3 points in Auburn’s last seven games, and complete the offensive spark. Aggies coach Billy Kennedy said this match-up will be a challenge for both teams, who will both focusing on ways to get the ball in the basket.

Vanderbilt hits the road and heads to Lexington to face a Wildcats team looking for redemption in their second post-Nerlens Noel game. Shorthanded Kentucky is coming off an 88-58 trouncing from Tennessee, failing to deliver without big man shot blocker Noel who is sidelined for the rest of the season due to a tear in his ACL. Kentucky coach John Calipari said the team will simply have to adjust to the loss.

South Carolina looks to snap their six-game losing streak as they match up against the visiting Ole Miss Rebels. The Gamecocks’ last win came in a 75-54 decision vs. Arkansas on Jan. 26. Meanwhile, the Rebels are riding high after an impressive 84-74 victory in overtime to advance past the Georgia Bulldogs. Ole Miss has struggled on the road recently, having dropped their past three visiting games. Rebels’ coach Andy Kennedy recognizes the challenge his team will face on the road against a well-coached Gamecocks team.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
