Gators Women’s Basketball Faces FIU in NIT

The Gators women’s basketball team faces Florida International University Thursday night in Miami for the first round of the National Invitational Tournament. Florida (18-14) received a bid for postseason play for the 20th time in school history.

The matchup Thursday evening marks Florida’s sixth appearance in the NIT, fourth under Florida head coach Amanda Butler.
