  • The Gator gymnastics team competes in one of only five home meets this year tonight when it hosts Illinois-Chicago. Florida won its opening meet of the year as did Illinois-Chicago.
  • Gator football player Jeff Demps is now back on the track team and he says he will pursue a career in track and not football when his college days are over.
  • Former Gator Al Horford could be lost to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks for up to four months after he injured his shoulder in a game last night.
  • Alabama will lose three juniors to the NFL Draft as running back Trent Richardson, linebacker Dont’a Hightower and defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick all declare for the draft. LSU will lose junior corner Morris Claiborne to the draft as well.
