Major League Baseball claims to be investigating.
** The top ranked Florida women’s tennis team opens its regular season with a 7-0 win over USF on Tuesday.
** In SEC men’s hoops, Kentucky knocked off the No. 16 ranked Ole Miss on the road 87-74, as Nerlens Noel blocks 12 shots. Tennessee also beat Vanderbilt 58-57 for its second straight one-point win. Tonight, Georgia faces Auburn, Missouri plays LSU and Texas A&M takes on Mississippi State.
