1A Football State Championship will be a Battle of Two Tigers: Trenton v. Blountstown

Trenton High School will play for the State 1A title Friday when it takes on Blountstown.  The Tigers are 11-1 overall and come off a win in the state semifinals over Dixie County, while the Tigers of Blountstown beat Cottondale in Cottondale and come into the championship game 13-0 on the season. Trenton head coach Andrew Thomas says his team needs to get ready for the challenge.

“We know were playing a big team up front; it’s going to be a challenge for us,” he said.  “Our kids just got to come out and get it done.”
