University of Florida freshman quarterback Treon Harris is in some potential trouble again.
After being suspended earlier this year while an allegation of sexual battery against him was being investigated, a charge that was later dropped, Harris now faces a misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid driver’s license.
According to reports, Harris was stopped earlier this month by the University Police Department and did not have a valid license. There were two other Gator football players in the car in freshmen J.C. Jackson and Jalen Tabor.
Reports say small amounts of marijuana were found in the car but the vehicle did not belong to anyone in the car and no charges were filed.
The University Athletic Association released a statement today saying “we are aware of the incident and are dealing with it internally and their (players) bowl status hasn’t changed.”
