A little something across the board for sports fans today in our Tuesday Sports Update…

** Gator football practices have officially started after the first ones take place on Monday.   The first open practice will be on Thursday.

** Two year starting safety Jalen Mills has been reinstated to the team by LSU after a charge against him of second degree battery was reduced to a misdemeanor.

** In the NFL, the Cincinnati Bengals have signed starting quarterback Andy Dalton to a new multi-year deal.

** Rookie Johnny Manziel takes snaps with the first team in Cleveland Browns camp.   He and Brian Hoyer are battling for the starting job.

** Media reports say former Gator and current Washington Wizards star Brad Beal has been cut from the U.S. men’s national team roster.

** In baseball, Tampa Bay loses at Oakland 3-2 and the teams will play again tonight.  Miami is at Pittsburgh and Atlanta is at Seattle.
