SEC Baseball Tournament-Day Two

Day Two of the SEC Baseball Tournament takes place today in Hoover, Alabama. The action starts at 10:30 am eastern time as three seed Texas A&M faces Alabama, a 6-1 winner over Ole Miss that eliminates the Rebels. The second game has two seed Vanderbilt taking on Missouri, a 5-1 winner over South Carolina that eliminates the Gamecocks. The third game has top seed LSU facing Auburn, a 6-3 winner over Kentucky that eliminates the Wildcats. The final game of the day finds four seed Florida taking

on Arkansas, a 2-1 winner over Tennessee that eliminates the Volunteers. Ole Miss and South Carolina seem like NCAA Tournament bubble teams; the Rebels are now 30-26 overall and the Gamecocks are 32-25. The same can be said for Kentucky (30-25) and the season is over for the Volunteers who finish 24-26. Auburn certainly helped its NCAA case (it should get a bid) and Alabama (31-26) may need to win a few more to be considered for further postseason play. The same can be said of Missouri, who is just 30-26 overall.
