Gators Last Match
The Gators are off to a great start this season despite falling to No. 1 ranked North Carolina on Saturday. The Gators were defeated by the Tar Heels, 12-5. Two-time defending ACC goalkeeper of the year Sarah Reznick tallied an impressive 14 saves against the nation’s top-ranked team. On Monday afternoon, Reznick was named in the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll following her performance against North Carolina.

Sophomore Emma LoPinto scored three of the five goals in the game. LoPinto has scored 10 points in the last two games, which pushes her point streak to 21 games non-stop. Senior Emily Heller and Danielle Pavinelli each pitched in one goal to finish the game.
Meet the Maryland Terrapins
The Maryland Terrapins are coming to Gainesville with a 15-9 defeat over Drexel. Senior attackers Libby May scored six points while All-American attacker Hannah Leubecker added four points to the board. Senior midfielder Shaylan Ahearn had a career-best 14 draw control to help the Terrapins stay ahead.
The Terps had reigning IWLCA National Goaltender of the Year Emily Sterling securing the cage as they closed out the game to improve to 2-1 on the season.
What’s Next?
Florida is coming in with a 1-1 record and hope to improve to 2-1 on the season. This will be the ninth all-time matchup between both teams. The Maryland Terps have never lost to the Florida Gators in Gainesville, but that may change if the Gators step up. The game will take place at Donald R. Dizney Stadium on Saturday at noon.
